Many local stairlift providers use phrases like "Factory Trained" or "Certified Professional" but are actually unlicensed and uninsured. You will have no protection if you engage someone that does not have a D-21 or E-11 Contractors license issued by the State of California CSLB, which requires also holding a financial bond for your security.

Owner’s Story:

In the mid 1990’s I got a call from a friend that was selling medical equipment and needed someone to install stairlifts for customers in Southern California.

I took the factory training and started doing stairlift installations and service calls in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.

In 1999, I incorporated in California as Echo Delta, Inc. (my initials in the phonetic alphabet) and started using the business names SoCal Stairlift and SouthWest Stairlift. 

I focused on high quality products and superior customer service for stairlifts only, nothing else! 

I earned a CSLB Contractors license (#869763), and got bonded and insured. For most of the last 25 years I have done everything myself; sales, delivery, installation and service. 

I purposefully kept it small and very personal, wishing to provide the best products, prices and customer service possible. I am not the “Largest Stairlift Dealer” in Los Angeles, but one of the longest-lived, possibly the smallest, and proud of it!

Now as a senior citizen myself, I do get some help with the heavy lifting and tech, but still handle everything else myself.

If you call, I will answer the phone (evenings and weekends too!), answer your questions, send you info and come out to discuss if desired, intending to offer the same level of great service I have since 1999. 

I can provide most brands and any type of stairlift: straight, curved, indoor, outdoor, new and used, sometimes as quickly as the next day.
